This is a curated list for OzHoliday destinations, not a replacement for emergency warnings or each authority's complete alert service.
Between 16 August and 19 November, selected areas may close from 4:00 pm to 7:00 am for deer control. Read signs at park entrances and do not enter an active closure area.
The Penguin Parade mobility buggy and boardwalk toilets are unavailable; wheelchairs and alternative toilets remain available. The Nobbies Centre, cafe and toilets are closed, while its car park and boardwalks remain open.
Queensland Parks lists a dry-conditions alert through 31 August. Carry adequate water and check the live alert list before entering the park.
Bunyeroo Gorge Road and Brachina Gorge Road remain closed pending repairs, and walking trails into Wilpena Pound are closed pending a damage assessment. Several alternatives are listed as open; check the official notice before travelling.
Bushfire recovery closures include Eagle Waterhole campground and several Deep Creek waterfall and circuit hikes. Use the official open-area map when planning your day.
Pondalowie Bay's surfers viewing platform is closed after storm damage, and the park is reporting higher-than-normal feral bee activity. Follow park advice and signage.

Every notice has a review deadline. If that deadline passes—or a dated notice expires—OzHoliday's production build fails until the official source is checked and the guidance is updated or removed.
