Before you go
Beach and national-park parking fills quickly on warm weekends. Bouddi National Park charges $8 per vehicle per day at pay machines; arrive early and never park outside marked areas.
Access varies sharply. Maitland Bay Information Centre is rated medium accessibility, while the full Bouddi coastal walk includes steps, hills and rough surfaces. Check the exact stop before travelling.
Dog access varies by beach, reserve, season and time. Pets are not permitted in Bouddi National Park; follow Central Coast Council signs and check the planned beach before arrival.
Swim at patrolled beaches between the flags and check daily conditions. Rock platforms, unpatrolled coves and changing surf require extra caution.
